Bryce’s Buddies Juvenile Diabetes Foundation Inc. is excited to announce WINGIN’ IT 2012, to be held at the City of Winter Haven Municipal Airport. This two day event will showcase some of the finest chicken wings, live bands, and various entertainment in Central Florida. The festival will kick off on Friday, April 13th and continue through Saturday, April 14th, 2012. This unique festival will be a FLY IN event! Hundreds of Pilots, as well as, thousands of other festival patrons are anticipated to attend.
All proceeds from the festival will benefit Bryce’s Buddies Juvenile Diabetes Foundation Inc., a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit that provides support and benefits, such as medications, doctor and hospital bills, food vouchers, support group meetings, etc., that many children and affected families need to successfully battle this lifelong disease.
Events scheduled during Wingin’ It 2012 include a chicken wing competition that includes a pro division (restaurants) and a “Joes” division for those who believe they have the best homemade wings around. Most competition teams will be vending their best wings and other food items to the general public. Live music will be provided by some of the best entertainers in Central Florida. Don’t miss the chicken wing eating contest that is sure provide competitiveness as well as a few laughs for all festival goers.
