For its 17th annual Christmas Concert titled EVERGREEN, the Plant City Community Chorale (PCCC) will return to the nearly acoustically-perfect sanctuary of St. Clement Catholic Church located at 1104 N Alexander Street Plant City, FL 33563.
The concert’s title is intended to echo the ageless concepts of hope, resilience, and the enduring spirit of Christmas. It is also the title of one of the concert songs.
The Sunday December 7th performance will begin at 5:00pm. St. Clement’s doors will be open at 4:30pm. The concert will last approximately 90 minutes.
Among the traditional seasonal songs PCCC Artistic Director Coleman Flentge has selected are In The Bleak Midwinter,
The Holly And The Ivy, Kyrie, and Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring.
More contemporary holiday pieces include Through the Shade and Silver Bells.
Director Flentge has created a small women’s ensemble which will perform The Snow op.26:1.
A second, mixed voice ensemble, is singing Sure on this Shining Night and O Christmas Tree.
Tickets are $20.00 if purchased from a Chorale Member.
