We like to engage our community each year to foster a sense of stewardship of our local natural resources. Municipalities, organizations and vendors are invited to help cooperatively present memorable ways of maintaining quality of life while lessening environmental impact through responsible water use and environmental awareness.

The festival presents current water issues facing Polk County, and assists with understanding of future changes. Families from around Polk County will have the opportunity to learn about the diverse biological connections that tie us all to the water quality and quantity of our local lakes and drinking water.

We partner education with active conservation methods in a fun, informative atmosphere with live animals, irrigation assistance, hands-on building and activities.
