There are seven watersheds within Polk County that feed the Alafia, Hillsborough, Kissimmee, Little Manatee, Oklawaha, Peace and Withlacoochee rivers (hence, the event name). Those river waters impact quality and quantity of water throughout our county and Central Florida from coast to coast.

This September Polk County Utilities and the City of Winter Haven will partner to present the Eighth Annual 7 Rivers Water Festival. The Festival provides a fun and entertaining, learning experience for the whole family. Learn more about today's water issues and ways to save money and water, while helping the environment.

The Festival will also feature: 5K Race, Boat Cruises, Vendors, Music, Door Prizes, Plant Sales, Free Water-conserving Fixtures, Irrigation Assistance, Water-related Crafts & Games, Touch-a-truck and Tours.
