A devotee of the bossa nova sound, Daniel Soledade echoes the quiet, intimate style of João Gilberto. A legacy-related back story lends added depth to Soledade’s unfolding musical saga—she belongs to a sparkling lineage of great Brazilian artists, ranging from her grandfather Paulo, a collaborator with Antonio Carlos Jobim, Vinicius De Moraes, Baden Powell and other Brazilian legends. She interprets bossa nova classics and puts a Brazilian touch on jazz standards with her pristine vocals and mastery of this musical form.
