Plant City Community Chorale enthusiastically announces its 2024 Fall Concert:
“CURTAIN CALL: FAVORITES OF THE STAGE & SCREEN”.
The program showcases songs from classic and modern performances from Broadway and movies.The Saturday, October 19th performance is sponsored by Roots Tap Room & Wine Bar at 101 South Evers St. in Plant City.
The concert begins at 7:00pm, and will be at First United Methodist Church, 303 North Evers Street in Plant City.
Coleman Flentge, the Chorale’s Artistic Director, will direct several well-known and beloved pieces including Oklahoma! from the 1943 Broadway musical, and 42nd Street based on the 1980 Broadway production—which was based on the 1933 film of the same name.
Among more contemporary songs are Dream a Little Dream made famous (again) by the Mommas & the Papas in the 1960’s, Back to Before from the musical Ragtime (based on E.L. Doctorow’s novel), as well as Raise Your Voice from Sister Act and Someday from The Hunchback of Notre Dame.

Tickets may also be purchased at the Walden Lake Car Wash (in Plant City) or at the door the night of the concert.
