Featuring Artists: Rita Fandrich, piano
with Fernando Traba, Betsy Traba, Stacey McColley, Richard Sparrow, and Dione Sparrow
How thrilled we are this year to offer a beautiful performance by our extraordinary piano artist-in-residence, Rita Fandrich! A member of the full-time faculty for decades, Professor Fandrich taught generations of students; performed as a soloist and chamber musician on campus, in Florida, and throughout the country; and served as an academician in countless local, regional, state, and national institutions, competitions, and organizations. We are proud to present her this evening in a lovely performance with some of her closest musician friends, highlighting Mozart in a work of masterful variety and inspiration – and Poulenc in a delightfully witty work, rich in jazz and romanticism.
