The Plant City Community Chorale will present their annual celebration of our country and its music, From Sea to Shining Sea, at 7:30 pm on Saturday, June 8, 2019, at the historic 1914 Plant City High School Community Center, 605 N. Collins, Plant City. For the sixth year, we are honored to have Hopewell Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens as our concert sponsor.
The Chorale, under the direction of Claudia Bolaño Becerra, will perform several moving, patriotic favorites including Battle Hymn of the Republic, God Bless America, My Country ‘Tis of Thee, and of course, The Star-Spangled Banner. Other pieces such as, To Those Who Serve, and Armed Forces – The Pride of America, pays tribute to those who are serving or have served our nation, while Deep River, Justice, and Hymn to Freedom remind us of our rich history and all America represents.
