This evening’s “Radio Opera Hour” on fictional WFSC features FSC’s Opera Theatre and Opera Orchestra in a double bill that includes Rumplestiltskin: Ultimate Bully by Denise Page Caraher (literary themes by the Brothers Grimm and musical themes by Johann Strauss II) and Gian-Carlo Menotti’s contemporary masterpiece, The Old Maid and the Thief. In this creative pairing of operatic miniatures, you’ll first learn a valuable lesson about bullying and then experience a twisted tale of unrequited love.
