Originally raised on a dairy farm outside of Ellenburg Depot, New York, in the shadow of the Adirondack Mountains, the Gibson Brothers have grown to establish a great presence in the music industry. The group excelled this last year, taking home the 2013 Entertainer of the Year Award, the 2013 Vocal Group, the 2013 Song of the Year “They Called It Music” and 2013 Songwriter of the Year – Eric Gibson, all at the 24th Annual International Bluegrass Music Awards. The Washington Post says, “The Gibson Brothers deliver their tales of rural life with a mixture of pain and joy that rings truer than the romanticism of most bluegrass.”
