To celebrate its 10 years of creating beautiful music, the Plant City Community Chorale presents “Music on Our Minds: A 10-Year Retrospective”, on Saturday, October 13, 2018, 7:30 pm at Holy Innocents’ Episcopal Church in Valrico.  The group began in 2008 with fewer than ten members; today the chorale averages 25 to 35 members for each of its four yearly concerts.  Now in its 5^th year under the direction of Claudia Bolano Becerra, the Chorale has grown, not only in members, but also in its performance level.  Come hear “In the Bleak Mid-Winter” from our first performance in 2008 to our 2017-2018 season performance of the spiritual “The Storm is Passing Over”.  In between these years are the French “Dirait-On” and the Spanish “Te Quiero” and familiar works like “Dream a Little Dream of Me”, “He Never Failed Me Yet”, and “They Can’t Take That Away from Me”.
