PROJECT E.A.G.L.E. LAKE CLEANUP
Enhancing A Great Living Environment
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Volunteers of all ages are needed to take part in this outdoor celebration and cleanup! Under the leadership and organization of Keep Winter Haven Clean and Beautiful, Project E.A.G.L.E will soar once again to celebrate another year of trash cleanup on the Chain of Lakes and surrounding waters on Saturday, APRIL 25th. The only remaining component of a once thriving state-wide cleanup program will kick off with registration at 8 a.m. from Lake Shipp Park. Registered participants receive clean up supplies, lunch, and a free t-shirt (while supplies last). Volunteers can either walk the shore or bring a watercraft of choice from which to work. Environmental exhibitors with valuable information about our natural resources, live entertainment, a ski show and more will be available for all to enjoy! Activities will wrap up at 2:00p.m.
Adult After Party with BBQ Dinner is held over at Old Man Franks after we are all wrapped up at Lake Shipp Park.
This event is sponsored in part, by Keep Winter Haven Clean and Beautiful, Inc., the City of Winter Haven, Anglers with Attitude, Lakeside Adventures, Kissimmee River Valley Sportsman Association, Lakes Education/Action Drive, Old Man Franks, Tanner’s Lakeside, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and through a grant from Charlotte Harbor National Estuary Program.
