Tallahassee Nights Live is a monthly event filled with live music featuring some of the best sounds of Jazz, R & B, Soul, Pop, Hip Hop, Dance, Expressed Spoken Words and Hilarious Comedy. The event’s host is WHBX 96.1’s Joe Bullard and Black on Black Rhyme’s Keith Rodgers who happens to be a Polk County native.
The appeal is universal and Tallahassee Nights Live offers all types of music which leaves you ultimately satisfied after every show. Each of its performers are passionate and dedicated to giving the audience first-class entertainment.
Creator, Darius “Doc D” Baker began this labor of love with the first preview show on August 29, 2006, at Club Elements. That first show was sold out, and the following event premiered at The Ramada Inn North in Tallahassee, Florida. The huge success of his productions made the move to the Leon County Civic Center necessary where the crowds quickly reached the capacity of the venue for each show. Due to the overwhelming number of patrons, “Tallahassee Nights Live” relocated to its new location, THE MOON.
Tallahassee Nights Live now features celebrity guests and is taking the “show” on the road, and Polk County was the show’s first performance away from Tallahassee. The show will return February 16, 2013 for a special “Valentines Edition”.
Qsquared Entertainment Group,the promoters of the event are from Polk County, and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the C.O.L.A. program here in Polk County.
