InnerAct Alliance will host its Annual Red Ribbon Run and Kids Health & Wellness Carnival on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at Joker Marchant Stadium in Lakeland. The Red Ribbon Run is the largest youth running event in Polk County with an annual participation of over 1,800 youth. Registration is FREE for K-5 students. Pre-registered participants receive a FREE T-SHIRT! Students in grades 6 & above and adults pay a registration fee of $10 to run in the Open Race. Registration begins at 7:00 A.M. with races beginning at 8:00 A.M. Festivities also include an exciting Kids Health & Wellness Carnival to celebrate the importance of good health. Wristbands for the Carnival will be sold for $5 admission to enjoy interactive attractions, fun fitness-oriented family activities, refreshments and entertainment.
