The Plant City Community Chorale is delighted to announce its annual Spring concert, Seize the Day.
The concert, sponsored by Absolute Auto Repair, will be presented on two separate dates: Saturday, March 25, 2023, at 7:30 pm, at St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 509 E. Twiggs St., Tampa, FL; and Saturday, April 1, 2023, at 7:30 pm, at Church of the Nazarene, 4202 Mud Lake Rd., Plant City, FL.
Under the passionate direction of Artistic Director, Coleman Flentge, the Chorale is excited to present musical favorites from stage and screen that span several decades.
There will be well-known favorites from years gone by such as, “Sunrise, Sunset” from Fiddler on the Roof; “Over the Rainbow” from Wizard of Oz; and “Edelweiss” from The Sound of Music just to name a few.
More recent decades will be represented by “Seasons of Love” from Rent; “Pure Imagination” from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory; as well as “Seize the Day” from Newsies. You are sure to tap your toes and possibly shed a sentimental tear.
