Originating from the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia, the Spinney Brothers emphasize the sound of traditional Southern-flavored Bluegrass music. The Spinney Brothers have been recognized with a number of awards at the Eastern Canadian Bluegrass Music Awards since 1992, and were inducted into the Nova Scotia Country Music Hall of Fame in September 2010. Releasing their tenth recording No Borders in 2013, The Spinney Brothers have reached #1 on the Bluegrass Unlimited National Survey Top 15 Albums in January 2014. Highlighted in their body of work, the Spinney Brothers duet singing and complementary instrumentation creates and recognizable sound in music industry.
