Spirit of the Buffalo Pow-Wow (New for 2014: Survival skills workshops will be held on Jan 3, 4 and 5. The workshops will focus on fire making, bow and arrow and primitive weapons.)

Jan 10 to 12 & 17 to 19: This year’s schedule includes an Indian Village with historic artifacts, an intertribal dance competition, artisans and crafters, Native American food and music, and workshops teaching survival skills and fire making.  The featured show is the East Meets West show presented under a big top tent.  This premier show compares the Eastern tribe, Creek, and the Western tribe, Comanche, and spans the eras of primitive life through the 1800s. Entertainment new to the 2014 event includes a Birds of Prey raptor demonstration, and wolf and buffalo exhibits. Fri, 10-8. Sat, 10-9. Sun, 10-4. Call (863) 665-0062 for more info.
