Celebrating the remarkable range of styles and roles played by the symphony orchestra in the world of music, FSC’s Symphony Orchestra offers an extraordinary program of music designed to showcase the beauty and breadth of expression inherent in this treasured musical medium.  With Beethoven’s dramatic Egmont Overture and Rimsky-Korsakov’s colorful Capriccio Espagnol providing the core of traditional orchestral repertoire, the versatility of the orchestra as a collaborative ensemble is also featured through impressive performances by the winners of FSC’s first annual orchestra concerto/aria competition.
