Did you know that Allen and Company and the Rotary clubs of Lakeland are bringing the Beach Boys to town? Why? The four Rotary clubs of Lakeland have embarked on an amazing project. The Lakeland Rotary clubs are working with the City of Lakeland Parks and Recreation department to create an exciting new experiential playground around the historic expedition of Hernando de Soto. The Rotary Playground in Hernando’s Landing on the shores of Lake Parker will be designed around the history of Florida and the joy of discovery. From a replica 16thcentury ship to a tree house to a zip line, the new park promises an experience unlike any other. As part of their fundraising efforts, they are holding a benefit concert. Where: Joker Marchant Stadium – Lakeland, Florida Great ticket prices!!! $69, $55, and $35 Tickets go on sale to the general public on January 30th and can be purchased online at www.therotaryplayground.org. Up to 20 tickets can be purchased online at a time. If you would like to purchase a group of more than 20, you may visit the Joker Marchant Stadium box office in person.
