Featuring the FSC Choral department, Beth Gibbs, conductor
Written in 1780, Vesperae solennes de confessore, K. 339, is one of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s most beloved choral works, composed for liturgical use in the Salzburg Cathedral as his final choral work for that venue. Join Beth Gibbs, FSC’s Chamber Singers, and FSC’s Concert Choir for an evening of beauty, elegance, and admiration of this fine sacred composition, as well as for other shorter compositions that provide context, variation, and similarities.
